Hand Painted Glass Products at ima ken pintura
We met two artists/designers in Joanne Cariaso-Gacayan and Manny Gacayan at the store called ima ken pintura at the Novelty Village (Handicraft) at Tiendesitas. The talented and very friendly couple personally hand paint their glass items with the products ranging from fish bowls, vases, bread holders, and candle holders. They started out their business by hand painting t-shirts before moving on to the glass items that they offer today. The two hail from Ilocos, a province in the North here in the Philippines and the name of their store literally means hand and paint. Their products are visually appealing, with bright and attractive colors and designs.
