Scholastic Books

Searching for Scholastic books for your children? Look no further. There will be a "Catch the Reading Bug Book Fair" at the Center for Childhood Education at 78 Sanso St., Corinthian Gardens, Quezon City.

This will be from October 18, 19, and 21 (Note and correction as of October 17, 2005: This entry previously had the dates indicated as October 18-21. Sorry for that. There will be no book fair on October 20.) from 8am-5pm at the CCE Covered Court. The Scholastic Book Fair is part of the school's celebration of U.N. Day.

So set aside those Gameboys, Playstations, and X-box's for awhile. It is time to get your children into reading. Reading is fun and boosts knowledge and creativity.
Reading to your children regularly will enhance their language skills and will help them with school. I should know. Read to my 8-year old Adi a lot as a young child and now, he hardly has to review anything in Language and Reading. I should have read to him in Filipino though also. =)

It's never too late. Ali, my 3-year old, is now being read to in both English and Filipino. Will let you know how she is by age 8. =)
