I got this in the mail and am sharing it with readers who may be interested or may be looking for such a conference. The AD/HD Society of the Philippines, in cooperation with Rockwell Land/Power Plant Mall and the Bahay ni Angelo King Foundation will hold the 2nd National Conference on "AD/HD: Focusing on Medical and Educational Issues" on October 21-23 from 8am to 5pm. This will be at the Tent, Plaza Car Park, Power Plant Mall, Rockwell Center Makati City.

Invited speakers are Dr. Harlan Gephart, a clinical professor in Pediatrics at the University of Washington and Ms. Sandra Rief, an award-winning educator, author, and lecturer, based in California, U.S.A. Both speakers have years of experience in teaching practical strategies and intervention for educating individuals with AD/HD.

Participation fee for society members is P2,500 assuming payment is made before October 7. After October 7, the fee is P2,800. Topics to be discussed include: The Latest Medical Breakthroughs in the Management of AD/HD, How to hep your child with AD/HD succeed in school, etc.

It is the aim of the Society through this conference to reach more people, have more people learn about AD/HD and in so doing, help more children and persons cope with AD/HD.
