Child Book Review 6: Mitchell is Moving by Marjorie Weinman SharmatWHAT IS IT ABOUT? The story is about two dinosaur friends, Mitchell and Margo. Mitchell becomes bored with staying in the same house for a long time and so he decides to move. Margo tries to keep him from moving away but he still proceeds. In the end, true friendship survives even Mitchell's moving away. [an error occurred while processing this directive]WHAT'S GOOD ABOUT THIS BOOK? It is very humorous and witty. Even adults like me will enjoy reading it. This is actually one of my favorite books of all the books that my kids have. The conversations between Margo and Mitchell are so funny and there are a lot of creative, out-of-this world ideas on how to keep someone from leaving. Just don't let anyone you want to move away from read this - lest they get any bright ideas! WHAT DO OUR KIDS LEARN? Sometimes we have to move away to appreciate where we were before. Home is where the heart is. True friendship knows no distance and everything is nicer when shared with a friend. :-) [an error occurred while processing this directive] [By Angelica Viloria | Thursday, September 2, 2004] [an error occurred while processing this directive]Copyright © 2001-2012 by Angelica Bautista Viloria.
