The Movie in FPJ's MindIt has been a long absence on the net - still, things remain the same. As usual, my excuse is that I have been busy at work and at home, hence no angelhouser for days. The elections are over, Manny Pacquiao is still a winner, and I have been to Jeju (some spell it Cheju) Island in Korea in the last few days. [an error occurred while processing this directive]I have not been moping around as a result of Raul Roco's failed attempt at the presidency. Now, more than ever, am convinced that I made the right choice (never mind if the tallies put him last), especially when I hear how the other candidates react to the possibility of losing. Ang talo, umamin na and that includes FPJ. I don't particularly like Gloria Arroyo and would have wanted Lacson, Roco, or Villanueva to have won for honest-to-goodness change but I do know a lot of people voted for PGMA, either out of genuine admiration for her or out of an intense fear of an FPJ-led Philippines. Still, I regret now that we will never find out how the Philippines would be under a Roco presidency. Roco, with his age and sickness, I suppose, will now fade quietly from the political scene. Anyway, back to reality - which looks like a GMA administration again. Am now also so behind in my writing - I now have my KL series and my Jeju Island series pending. Stay tuned in the coming weeks as I flesh out my trip diaries. Enjoy the rest of your week!
