"For food that stays our hunger, Look around you and you'll find things to be thankful for. This Wednesday, for one, marks the start of Lent. For Catholics, it's a good time to count our blessings and the greatest blessing we have received is stated in that very famous verse: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Son." The word "lent" can also remind us that the life we live is merely "borrowed time." We have been put on earth for a special purpose and that is what we must seek to find out as we go from day to day. Lent is a perfect time for sacrifice too. My daughter Ali probably senses this which is probably why she decideded to act like a newborn last night, practically waking up every hour on the hour. With my lack of sleep, things can be quite frustrating but we do what we have to do... Have a great week everyone. Give thanks with a grateful heart.
