Moon Days

Monday last week, I wrote that readers should watch this space. Every Monday, I was going to start the week by giving an inspirational quote, a prayer, anything to lighten our spirits.

Every Monday, I will have what I call a "Moon Day" entry. Why Moon Day? Moon Day refers to the fact that I will write each Monday. It recognizes the fact, that just like the moon, we go through different phases (or is it faces?) in our lives. At times we feel new or renewed, or we can feel full of love one day and full of ourselves the next, or we sometimes feel that we're being torn into quarters. Other days can just drive us to lunacy too. Some days feel like nights but no matter how dark the evenings, there is always some source of light.

So may I invite you to take time out, every Monday, and gaze at the moon from our home here on the net? I shall not give you the answers on when it is best to move house or when it is best to get married but I hope we can together enjoy the light of a moonbeam or two :-)

Today's Moon Day entry:

"Look well to this day!
For it is life,
The very best of life.
In its brief course like all the varieties
and truths of existence;
The joy of growth,
The glory of action,
The splendor of beauty,
For yesterday is but a memory,
And tomorrow is only a vision;
But today well-lived
makes every yesterday a memory of hapiness,
And every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Look well therefore to this day!

-Ancient Sanskrit Poem

Thank you God for this day and for all its blessings. Cheers!
