Work: Being in Between VacationsWe just came back from a 4-day break in Maribago Bluewater Resort, Cebu. Every year, our family takes a vacation and every year, I realize (as I forget during the year) how good it is to take a break. Now, I'm looking forward to planning our 2004 outing - just like some people look forward to merienda, right after finishing their lunch. [an error occurred while processing this directive]It is good to get away and recharge at least once a year. It's a time to bond with family - when we can just be with hubby and kids, with no distractions from school or office. It's pleasant not to hear any news of impeachments or whether FPJ will run for president or not. It's a perfect time to get more material for the web. So, as I see it, work is my break from my vacations. I'm in-between vacations now and thinking of the next break should sustain me through the next 12 months of to-do's. Some people I know don't take vacations regularly. Maybe it's a matter of choice, or time, or finances - to each his own. In my case though, an annual vacation is a "must," if only to reward myself for the year that has gone by. I will be writing about the trip in the next few weeks so do stay tuned. Till the next vacation! [By Angelica Viloria | Tuesday, November 4, 2003] [an error occurred while processing this directive]Copyright © 2001-2012 by Angelica Bautista Viloria. All Rights Reserved.
