PGMA's RatingThe preoccupation with Philippine politics has rubbed off on observers as well. Last Friday, I think, was the first time news on the country's credit rating hit the headlines - and all because Fitch voiced out its worry that if President Gloria does not run again, certain reforms (which would lead to progress, I assume)may not be sustained. Hence, the rating downgrade. Why I even heard the news on DZBB, am radio, the night before. Talk about media mileage! [an error occurred while processing this directive]As far as I'm concerned though, I don't think PGMA's not running should lead to a disaster or deterioration here in the Philippines. We are a country of 82 million people. I refuse to believe that there is no one else out there who can run the country as well, if not better than PGMA. If such were true, what a sorry state we would be in -- and I best be on the look-out for another country to migrate to. Oh well, we all have our own opinions. As for me, am still looking around for whom to vote for and it definitely ain't Noli,Ping, or FPJ.
