True ConfessionsHappy Easter everyone! Just coming off the Holy Week break, I suppose you know why there were no entries till today -- we were plain lazy. Anyway, Holy Week is usually that time of year when we go for the sacrament of reconciliation and penance. In other words, we go to confession. [an error occurred while processing this directive]Last Holy Thursday, I set out to go to confession at our parish. I had already started when the priest startled me with his most unusual style. "Which of your sins do you consider as most important?" (I mumble something in reply.) "What do you think you should do about it?" I was stunned to say the least. I was used to the priest usually doing the "suggesting" part about what I should do about my transgressions. Anyway, that's something to think about for everyone. Before you go to that confessional, ask yourself those questions. I think they'll prove helpful to all of us spiritually. In the meantime, rejoice! Christ, our Lord, is risen.
