Kung Hei Fat Choi - Horsing Around in the year 2002

Happy year of the water horse! So sorry for this greeting coming a day late but there was something strange about the internet yesterday. Couldn't upload anything. Now this has nothing to do with "acting third world" - lest I get the ire of my new neighbor (but more on this in a future entry).

It's the start of the Chinese New year and even if you haven't got a drop of Chinese blood in you (which may be rare for Filipinos), a new year is always a good time to take stock of things and start fresh.

So, is this going to be a good year for your sign? Take the positive. Junk the negative predictions. That's always a good approach to take.

As for us, we're still waiting for the grand entrance of the newest member of our family. Yup, I haven't given birth yet - just plain lazy which explains why the entries here have not been too regular recently. As for my mother-in-law, she can now breathe easily knowing that her upcoming grandchild will surely be born in the year of the horse -- her year and my hubby's too. That makes three generations of the same sign and they say that brings good luck. Well, babies always bring blessings...

Kung Hei Fat Choi, friends!
