Those SWS Surveys

The newspapers today quote the SWS (that's Social Weather Station) surveys as saying that more than 80% of Filipinos welcome the presence of American troops here in the country. I've lived in this country (not to mention, on this earth) for almost 35 years now and surprisingly, have never been asked by the SWS about my opinion on anything.

I'm beginning to wonder now who the respondents to these surveys really are. Like has anyone asked you or approached you in your lifetime?

Maybe I should get out of my cubicle or the house more often. Then again, who needs those surveys when you can always have a webpage...
