Charming the Grammar PolicePregnant women undergo a lot of physical and emotional changes. Even our belly-buttons look different when we're expecting. [an error occurred while processing this directive]My son Adi saw my belly-button quite recently and he said: "Your belly button looked nicer before." Wanting to snap back but controlling myself, since I wanted to see where this conversation would lead (and I'm glad I did as you will read later), I asked Adi: "Why, how does my belly-button look like now?" Adi looks at me without batting an eyelash and says: "More nicer..." Didn't have energy to correct Adi's grammar after. My son's a charmer.
