BonusThis has nothing to do with what most employees expect this time of year. Don't you notice that more people have been getting sick or dying lately? If you had a choice, up to how old would you want to live? [an error occurred while processing this directive]I have often heard people (most of them priests during a funeral mass) say that to live up to 70 is already a blessing. After awhile, I realized that this statement had some Biblical basis. I don't remember where now (was it in the Psalms?) but there's a part there which goes: "Seventy years is all we have. Eighty, if we are strong." No wonder most people consider living beyond 80 as a big bonus already. Anyway, here's wishing all of you the Christmas bonus you all expect. I wish you more years too. Better yet, at the end of this life, may we all get the biggest bonus of all -- finding a special room for us in Our Father's house.
