Two Kicks

This baby in my tummy seems to be one determined and feisty kid. I was half-asleep this morning and lying on my left side. My body was positioned in such a way that about half of my stomach was pressing against the bed.

Then I felt it, a faint kick. I smiled to myself thinking that baby probably doesn't particularly relish the position. I, on the other hand, found it to be quite comfortable so I didn't re-position myself just yet.

Then, a much stronger kick, strong enough to really wake me up. I then realized the baby would not be ignored so I decided to lie on my back completely to put the pressure off my tummy.

Another boss in the making. Come February 2002, we'll have 2 kids lording over our lives. We're not complaining though. Life is good.
